At Augmedix, we’ve been pioneering the use of Glass in healthcare for more than 4 years. Our technology-enabled platform saves healthcare providers a third of their day that would otherwise be spent entering information into electronic health record (EHR) systems on the computer. We allow providers to spend more time actually “seeing” patients and focusing on what matters most: caregiving.

Today, we announce that we are now deployed and scaling at a dozen of the nation’s leading health system using Glass Enterprise Edition. Systems such as Christiana Care, Eastern Maine Medical Center, Sutter Health, Dignity Health, TriHealth, and CHI are expanding the use of Augmedix and Glass in primary care and numerous other clinic-based specialties.

“Augmedix typically saves our providers 2+ hours a day and dramatically reduces the large amount of time spent on computer documentation, facilitating even greater focus on the personalized, best-in-class patient care we deliver,” said Albert Chan, M.D., M.S. Chief of Digital Patient Experience at Sutter Health, which has now improved the experience of over 100 doctors and tens of thousands of patients across Northern California.

“Glass used with Augmedix is helping doctors and healthcare professionals reduce the time they spend on administrative work so they can focus on what matters — delivering high-quality patient care.”

“Glass used with Augmedix is helping doctors and healthcare professionals reduce the time they spend on administrative work so they can focus on what matters — delivering high-quality patient care,” said Jay Kothari, Project Lead, Glass.

The press is already taking note. This morning, Steven Levy in his article for WIRED describes how Augmedix powered by Glass makes “medical examinations more productive—and more satisfying for patients and doctors alike.”

Learn more about how Glass is being used by companies in other industries. The World Economic Forum recently recognized that this trend is poised to transform the global economy and create a mind boggling number of new jobs.

The Augmedix team is now more than 1000 strong around the world, and we’re looking forward to accelerated growth to help our health system partners re-humanize the doctor-patient relationship.
